We are not using a power manager so screen brightness is not handled...
however we could make a script to handle the gamma, or something
similar...  Or simply start xfce-power-manager by default and someone
can figure out how to bind the brightness keys to the power manager...

I changed it to "

Your computer is free as a
    bird

" on the website.
However I have not rebuilt the Plymouth package with the changed text.
We have had a more important issue to work on (grub).
I will rebuild it when I get a chance to.

Your updating as root... simply run  (AS ROOT)
touch ~/.jwmrc
or
jwm-settings-manager -r

you do not need a .jwmrc file as root, since you are not going to log
into X as root.

if you want to change the default theme that is fine.
we do not need to show xload in the taskbar... it seems nice to have on
older computers, since you can see when something spikes the CPU..

Ali, you were going to test this since you have the language setup that
is most unique.
You type from left to right in English and right to left in Arabic.

It is auto-detected.  That is why you see the dialog.  Your computer has
the PAE flag, so OBI is asking you if you want to install the pae
kernel.  If your CPU does not have the pae flag it is quiet.
If you have a 64bit computer it will also tell you that you might want a
64bit OS.
