[Bug 1347009] Re: apport-retrace occassionally creates a retraced report without a stacktrace
Currently, the retracers for the Ubuntu Error Tracker delete the
original crash file, with the CoreDump, before examining the retraced
report. So to be able to get the CoreDumps from the crashes for
investigation we'd need to reorganize how the retracers behave.

apport-retrace occassionally creates a retraced report without a

Bug description:
On the Ubuntu Error Tracker retracers I've noticed that apport
occasionally will retrace a crash and that the retraced crash report
will contain no Stacktrace in it.
Here a couple of examples of the retraced reports, unfortunately
without the CoreDump.

I've seen this with both crashes on i386 and armhf, so it doesn't seem
to be armhf specific although it may be related to using gdb-
multiarch. I've created statsd counters for this
(retrace.missing.stacktrace) and so far (after 96 hours) it has only
occurred 12 times. Subsequently, it seems like a rather low priority
but it is still curious.
