[Bug 1337406] Re: X crashes gnome-session: Fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable)
This affects me as well, exactly as described. Didn't happen on 12.04 at
all, now happens quite often on 14.04!
Simon, did you find a solution to this?
Thanks!

Title:
X crashes gnome-session: Fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily
unavailable)
Status in “xorg” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Hello,
Sometimes my X crashes and restart automatically and give me the error
message Gdk-WARNING: gnome-session: Fatal IO error 11 (Resource
temporarily unavailable) on X server :2.#012.
Sometimes my X "partially freezes" like my mouse is working, but I
can't click on anything on the screen.
I'm running on a laptop and I have a second screen using laptop
displayport.
It happens very often since I switched to Ubuntu 14.04. On 13.10
sometimes my X crashed but few times only and it was related to
LibreOffice only (at first glance...)
