[Bug 1352519] [NEW] [VPCSB1S1E, Realtek ALC275, Speaker, Internal] Clicking noise on startup

Public bug reported:

Expected behaviour:
The system starts silently.

Observed behaviour:
On startup there are two loud clicking noises coming from the integrated laptop speakers, independently of volume level.

The first can be heard a few seconds before the splash screen with its
progress bar (dots) is shown.

The second can be heard on the log-on screen during the time when the
background image is loaded.
