[Bug 1357720] [NEW] when unlocking (with password) I have a black screen

Public bug reported:

I recently installed xubuntu (Ubuntu 14.04 trusty) on my Acer
TravelMate-6293 (3,8 GB Memory).

For safety, I decided to unlock it by password as it was before with
windows. When I do this, I get a black screen with nothing at all, then
I need to close the screen down on the keyboard and reopen it and (this
time no password is required) some times is ok while someothers I don't
see the mouse arrow and I need to lock the laptop again and unlock it.

** Affects: openssh (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
