Title:
Logging out of Unity after connecting/disconnecting HDMI cable results
in a compiz crash
Status in Unity:
Invalid
Status in unity package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
If I logout of Unity after plugging/unplugging an HDMI cable to an
external monitor, compiz will crash. I will try to provide the
coredump, but it is never a complete dump and is always truncated, so
I don't think it will be helpful. I believe that I have narrowed down
the issue to the Compiz Session Management plugin. Disabling it
prevents this crash.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Log into Unity
2. Plug in an HDMI cable and wait until the desktop is on the new screen
3. Unplug the HDMI cable
4. Log out
5. Compiz will have crashed
