Actually, you have not installed it from an official source as
0.2.67ubuntu0.1 is only available for Vivid and not Wily.

  apport fails to let me file a bug with the usb-creator package

Status in apport package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  To reproduce launch usb creator and then and opne a terminal and run
  ubuntu-bug usb-creator-gtk .  I get an error message saying that usb-
  creator-gtk is not an offical package in wily.

  I have usb-creator-gtk  usb-creator-gtk:
    Installed: 0.2.67ubuntu0.1
    Candidate: 0.2.67ubuntu0.1
    Version table:
   *** 0.2.67ubuntu0.1 0

  showing in apt-cache policy apport and apport says that this version of usb-creator-gtk is not an official package even though I installed from the repos.

  I expected to be able to file my bug with usb-creator-gtk. I could not
  get apport to allow me to file a bug on this package. I could file
  this bug on apport with this package either through ubuntu-bug usb-
  creator-gtk or ubuntu-bug -w and clicking on the usb-creator window.
