Title:
Camera app seems to restart on app switching because viewfinder is
black
Status in camera-app:
Confirmed
Status in camera-app package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
If I open the camera app then open another app, the switch back to the
camera app, the image is dropped, you get a moment of black screen
then the image comes back again.
Steps:
1. Unlock the device
2. Open the camera app (see an image)
3. Open the browser app
4. Switch from the browser app back to the camera app
Expectations:
I expect the camera to be ready to take a shot.
Situations:
Kids part/sports event.
You ready the camera for the right moment and sit back, you open the browser to play catchup on the news. Switch back to the camera as the moment arrives and miss the moment as the camera app restarts.
