[Bug 1382860] Re: Keyboard sound not affected by turning volume down/off
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1498466 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1498466
This seems to be a duplicate of bug 1498466, we use SoundEffects for the
keyboard sounds (necessary to avoid high latency), and the volume of
SoundEffects is currently independent from the default system volume.
** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 1498466
Default audio role for volume controls isn't the role that sound effects use

Bug description:
On RTM 5 with Mako, the keyboard sound is not affected by turning off
the main sound. I.e., when putting my phone on 'silent' by turning
down the sound all the way, they keyboard 'clicks' still sound when
typing on keyboard. Workaround is to disable keyboard sound in System
