[Bug 1280012] Re: Scrolling(Mousewheel) overreaction in homescreen
This is probably because of the high velocity and little deceleration we
allow in the scopes view. It must be triggering a bad Qt behaviour.
** Changed in: unity8 (Ubuntu)

** Also affects: qtdeclarative-opensource-src (Ubuntu)

Title:
Scrolling(Mousewheel) overreaction in homescreen
Status in “qtdeclarative-opensource-src” package in Ubuntu:
New
Status in “unity8” package in Ubuntu:
Opinion
Bug description:
When testing unity8 on the latest 14.04 desktop, the following behaviour occurred to me:
In the homescreen, one can scroll way beyond the actual content by repeatedly scrolling up and down with the mousewheel. Only works if one does it at right speed, i.e. scroll up when icons go up and vice versa.
This is hard to explain, but I have attached a video of it. Please note that mousebutton presses and scroll movements can be seen on the widget running (white box, a program called keyMon)
