Public bug reported:

I cannot select / highlight text in gmail-webapp, nor launchpad webapp.
This makes it impossible to copy and paste. I have not tried any other
webapps.

Expected behavior: holding down the left mouse button and swiping over text should select the text.
Actual behavior: no text is highlighted.

Other related issues:
I also cannot download files in gmail (this has been reported by other users already).  
Mousing over a link in gmail does not show a pointer like links normally do.
Right clicking in gmail does not produce a menu as it should.

I suspect the browser used for webapps has issues.
