Message #54188
[Bug 1420604] [NEW] /etc/init.d/ondemand : sleeping prevents the governor to change when battery operated
Public bug reported:
I would like to change the cpu frequency governor when my laptop is operating on battery by using the below command into a script in /etc/pm/power.d :
---
cpufreq-set -g powersave
---
When the laptop is started on battery operation :
1. the /etc/init.d/ondemand script sleeps
2. then the "powersave" governor I defined is applied by pm-utils
3. when the "ondemand" script wakes up, the powersave policy is applied and it overides the policy I choose for battery operation.
