[Bug 1421794] [NEW] ubuntu-desktop-next package does not install

Public bug reported:

Using apt-get to install the ubuntu-desktop-next package on Ubuntu
14.10 amd64 it does not automatically install one particular dependency
that is very much available for installation through apt-get without
making any changes to the default sources configuration. Here's the
error I received:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 ubuntu-desktop-next : Depends: packagekit
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

Once I explicitly installed packagekit, ubuntu-desktop-next installed
just fine.

** Affects: unity8 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
