Title:
"To" field doesn't accept further focus requests if keyboard is
dismissed while focused
Status in Ubuntu UX bugs:
Fix Committed
Status in messaging-app package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
If the "To" field is focused and the user dismisses the keyboard by
swiping it down the field remains highlighted but without a cursor and
tapping on the field does not give it proper input focus, resulting in
the keyboard and the cursor not displaying.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Create a new message
2) Focus on the "To:" field
3) Dismiss the keyboard by swiping down
(Note that the text field is still white)
4) Tap on the "Write a message..." field
5) Tap on the "To:" field
Expected result:
"To:" field accepts input and keyboard is displayed
Actual result:
"To:" field turns white, but doesn't show the cursor or the keyboard.
