Message #74858
[Bug 1450579] [NEW] Sound muted on login screen at startup
Public bug reported:
I have recently found that after upgrading from Ubuntu 14.10 to Ubuntu
15.04 that on at the login screen at startup (not on suspend) that the
sound appears muted (including the little thing in the notifications
area), so I am not able to hear that nice drum thing when Ubuntu gets to
the login screen, but once I have successfully signed in, my sound level
goes back to what it was before I last shutdown. And as I am not able to
change this, and not able then to have any sound before logging in, I
thought that I should report this as a bug, although when I first
upgraded, this did not happen, but maybe the second or third time I
logged in it started, as has been so ever since.
