[Bug 1457098] [NEW] Expanded indicators are not visible in direct sunlight

Public bug reported:

The selected/expanded indicator is currently highlighted in fully opaque
white, the other indicators are semi-opaque white. This works fine when
in dark ambient lighting conditions, but found myself struggling to see
the semi opaque indicators for example outdoors.

I would suggest finding a different way of highlighting the current
indicator, maybe a different color, and increase the opacity of the
other indicators, or just make them white.
