[Bug 1462739] [NEW] USB devices disconnected when logon is displayed
Public bug reported:
I am running Ubuntu 14.04 on Asus N750JV (Core I7).
Randomly, after ubuntu boots, I am losing the mouse. Sometimes I need to reboot once, sometmes 10 times before it comes back. I am also losing DCard port.
In the details:
- at bios, the mouse is enabled (the camera light is on)
- during boot, it is on
- just when the login interface is displayed, the mouse is diabled (the light is off)
I join the dmesg logs | grep usb, so you start investigate; it seems the
mouse is disable because the device is not reponding to usb set_address
command.
** Affects: libusb (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
