just tried it with build 43 on arale and it works fine. perhaps you
don't have MMS support with your data plan

  Reproduce Steps:

  prerequisites: There is a contact in your address-book app
  1,Enter to address-book 
  2,Select one contact to tap on it 
  3,Tap on the share button on upper of right
  4,Tap on the message app
  5,Type a contact and send it 

  Expect Result:

  It's can be send successfully

  Actual Result:

  Fail to send
