Message #88289
[Bug 1472366] [NEW] Crash while setting homepage in Settings Menu
Public bug reported:
Ubuntu 15.04
Version : 20150611.3
-- Open Web Browser
-- Go to settings
-- Click to select the homepage option ..(The homepage editing option will pop up with black background)
-- rotate the phone to landscape mode.. (The black shaded background is now only covers half the screen which is very lousy)
--
Now Two issues here:
1) Since the pop up menu is not locking the background instance, that
means you can access those other settings options (Search engine, blah
blah)...
Expected: In landscape mode the black background should cover the whole
screen and the background instance should be locked for user input
2) Now that we can access the back button too while keeping the "Homepage" pop up still open. Clicking it will take you out of the setting menu that means on your opened tab.
But the pop up will not go and will stay there forever whatever you do...
Expected: The back button should be locked too..
3) Apparently, the app crashes (randomly and not always).
** Affects: webbrowser-app (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
