  ubuntu touch: display darkens but is never switched off

Bug description:
  On A aquaris bq: When I don't switch off  the display by pressing the  power switch, the display darkens after some moments, but it never gets switched off completely. Is this as designed or is this a bug?
  (All software up to date at that moment)
