As discussed yesterday, agreed that a comment to the docs +
recommendation would make sense (especially as listDocs() would be used
for debugging purpose)

Bug description:
  Besides bug 1213013 I completely overlooked the behavior when using
  Database directly. The implementation is separate unfortunately.
