[Bug 1490444] Re: Launching an app from the dash lacks visual feedback
Splash screen is too slow. I'm talking about feedback before the splash
screen.
We do have such feedback already -- you see the icon "push in" but it's
way too hard to see. So instead the general perception is that nothing's
happening till the splash arrives.

Title:
Launching an app from the dash lacks visual feedback
Status in Ubuntu UX:
New
Status in unity8 package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Launching an app from the dash lacks visual feedback about what you
just tapped on, kind of. If you look extremely closely you will see a
slight change in the icon's shadow when you tap it. But the change is
hardly perceptible. We need some kind of feedback that's more visible
to improve the perception of the dash responding.
