[Bug 2098841] Re: Incorrect nautilus translation
Hello.
I would like to ask @seb128 as a member of the “Ubuntu language pack builders” team.
There are no weekly updates via lang-o-matic anymore.
And no ubuntu-langpack PPA updates with translation updates.
The nearest update date of the language-pack-gnome-uk-base package will be on the next point release (it is my guess).
Is it possible to fix this issue with the language-pack-gnome-uk-base package earlier than in October for 22.04 and 24.04?

Title:
Incorrect nautilus translation
Status in Ubuntu Translations:
New
Status in language-pack-gnome-uk-base package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
The issue was described upstream on
https://discourse.gnome.org/t/nautilus-ukrainian-translation-is-
broken-i-am-triaged-it-until-48-alpha-from-flatpak-and-it-is-working-
there but is a launchpad translation problem
Specifically
https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/plucky/+source/nautilus/+pots/nautilus/uk/429/+translate
Preparing to move %'d file
is translated on launchpad as
Підготовлення до переміщення #x27;d файлу
where upstream is
Підготовлення до переміщення %'d файла
the 'x27;' is buggy, someone from the uk translation team needs to
select the upstream variant of those translations
