Re: Introduction Message

Welcome Anthony! There's always something going on in QA. Hanging out on
this list should get you notified of opportunities. If you want to
explore the programming side of the fence, don't worry we have some
tasks involving coding next cycle :-) Are you into web development at all?

For example, right now we're busy helping get the final release of
precise out the door. To do this we use the iso tracker:

http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/ISO/Procedures

We're currently focusing on testing the server iso's.

Zsync saves time and bandwidth

If your testing using a VM, testdrive is awesome on a ubuntu host:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UsingDevelopmentReleases

It's a bit late, but there's still time to give it a whirl and see
what's involved if you want to. I'm 'balloons' on freenode and you can
reach me in the #ubuntu-testing or #u+1 channels anytime. Or email the
list.
