cortman - what was off ?

Send me the url of the page you converted and I will look.

We need to try to convert a few pages. Tutorials are variable enough in their layout we will probably always need to touch up the conversion.

Question is there anything that should be automated ? For example, I fixed the links, the wiki formatting of links should always work , ie [[http://link.html|Page Name]]

There may be links that are not wiki formatted http://link for example.

Ran it here- executes fine and creates three files in /Documents/ubforums2ubwiki/, .html, .clean.html, and .wiki. 


I entered the code in .wiki into a blank wiki page. It mostly worked, a few errors, and the formatting was a bit off, but I suppose that's to be expected.

Code: sudo chmod a+x /usr/local/bin/ubforums2ubwiki.sh Runs from terminal easily enough or make a launcher - I did that and got this icon to use for it
