In my searching I came across

It sounded really realistic.
Festival is also in the 13.10 repos... so I will play around with 
installing it, and seeing what I need to do to get a good voice, etc...
This is looking pretty promising at the moment (I'll let you know)
I also e-mailed the phone list to see what anyone else thought and who I 
could contact
