Hello all!

in the last weeks we worked hard on our event, so we have a few updates:

# Talks

First of all, we already have a bunch of talks and some really nice (and
known) speakers. Most importantly our first keynote speaker Jane Silber,
who is the CEO of Canonical! We also have talks from long time Ubuntu
Community members like Elizabeth K. Joseph, Laura Czajkowski, Nathan
Haines and many more.

We also have a few speakers more speakers with no announced talk yet,
including the Community-Managers David Planella and Alan Pope from
Canonical and Ubuntu MATE Lead Martin Wimpress. The whole list of our

The Call for Contribution is still open and will end on the 31st July
2016. We still have a lot tracks and slots to fill! :-)

# Sponsors

We've finally set up our sponsoring page and brochure, which can be

If you're from a company or you work for a company who might be
interested to sponsor our event, be sure to checkout our sponsoring
brochure. If we get some sponsors we will be able to reduce the
attendance fee as low as possible.

# LPI

We'll be working together with the Linux Professional Institute (LPI) at
our event. During the UbuCon it will be possible to take an exam on
paper, which will be cheaper than regular exams. Please be sure that the
LPI will handle all the questions and registration regarding the exam.
