Message #08316
[Bug 1548783] [NEW] Spanish surnames incorrectly imported and discarded
Public bug reported:
In Spain it is customary to have two surnames, both necessary for legal
effects. As an example:
Jordi López Echevarría
Where the first is the given name, followed by the first surname and the
second surname.
When importing the contacts from gmail, it seems the first surname is
being discarded (I assume they are treated as middle name?), resulting
in an incorrect contact name in the Ubuntu address book. e.g.:
Jordi Echevarría
** Affects: address-book-app (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
