My answer might be sort of off topic, but here it goes anyways.
We had a testing strategy discussion on Tuesday with Gema, Andy, Loic,
Stephane, Barry and Francis to overview how testing is going to happen
image build wise with regards to using the image based upgrade system
which will be readonly (which we wouldn't want to modify) and have
that as a base for most of the tests in the system.
Then there's upstream merger, where every merge is supposed to (if UI
based) run autopilot tests among all the other test types available at
build time. We are sorting out click in the picture since most of this
was easily solved with debian packaging.
And yes we can run stuff on the phone easily but depending on what you
plan is, the small farm might need to grow.
