Manual has:
If the password and other settings have not changed, Ubuntu will connect to the wireless network you chose. If the password did change, Ubuntu will open the “Wireless Network Authentication Required” window.

In order to match the first sentence ("have not changed"), I suggest changing "did change" to "has changed":
If the password has changed, Ubuntu will open the “Wireless Network Authentication Required” window.
