This is still an issue.  If new events are added you are unable to add a
new member as a contact individual.  The same applies to an event that
is taken over by a new member.  We are only permitted to choose an
individual from the list (many of whom are no longer active) to be the
contact individual.

Bug description:
  When trying to add a new event, I am unable to add a new name as
  contact for the event.  There should be a way to add new names for
  events because newer members take over and run events.
