This is great work!  Preparing a package with the patch for people test
is really helpful.

This bug report doesn't really demonstrate much triaging activity.
Additionally, I'm not quite certain a whole new bug report for the
sponsorship request was necessary.  You might have attached your debdiff
to one of the other two bugs you were fixing and subscribed the
appropriate sponsors team to that.
