I see no issues with Bill assigning bugs to the people that work
with/for him. It is part of his work. And his work wih bugs, so far, has
been correct.

Additionally, the distinction between assigned and in progress has
already been discussed.

@Bill: we will give the usual 1-week interval before final approval.

Anyway, sort of jumping the gun, welcome!
