A fixed is being worked on by madwifi in their ath5k driver. Dont know
when their release date is, but this is a problem affecting all non-
Xandros distributions

Hello

The wlan range under Ubuntu Eee (and under every other alternative distro I've tested so far on my eee) is much lower than it is under the preinstalled Xandros Linux (I've got an EEE PC 900).

Hope you can fix this for a future release! Would be great!
