A fix was released for the 2.6.24-19-eeepc kernel.
If you're not yet linked into the eeepc repository (depending on what version of Ubuntu Eee you're running) you may need to set it up by hand
follow the directions at http://www.array.org/ubuntu/setup.html

Bug description:
Webcam on 900 does't work after a fresh install of Ubuntu Eee.
It capture a frame and then freeze.

It's works good on Xandros and works good on standard Hardy out of the box.
