I'm seeing the same problem on an eee 1000, running in live mode (not
installed) - Wireless networking works fine, but the Fn-F2 key doesn't
disable/enable WLAN - it just causes the blue OSD to appear in the upper
left showing "Wireless LAN ON"

Bug description:
- i can't switch the wireless funktion on/off with fn-f2
- the audiooutput could be louder

the installation was done with external dvd drive and an image burned on dvd.
i'm using an eeepc 4g 701
it is the regular ubuntu eee 8.04.001 installation, without any kernelconfigs
