Did you mount the USB drive with the image of the install on it?  I got
the same error in that circumstance, but was able to successfully mount
after formatting that USB drive back to normal.

System: eeePC 1000H

When inserting a USB drive, the drive will show up on the right side dock, but an error message pops up stating that the drive could not be mounted, in looking at the details of the error, it is stating that Super-User privileges are required.
