I'll give that a try. I did attempt to load two different USB memory
sticks, one was the stick formatted to boot ubuntu eee, the other a 4gb
stick that just had files on it.

Version: Ubuntu eee 8.0.4.1
System: eeePC 1000H
When inserting a USB drive, the drive will show up on the right side dock, but an error message pops up stating that the drive could not be mounted, in looking at the details of the error, it is stating that Super-User privileges are required.
