Many  thanks, Igor. Switching from the US server to the Main server
solved my problem, as well as several others; we have Bluetooth! I'm
attaching a screenshot of what setting to change for those new to using
Synaptic and unfamiliar with apt-get.

I haven't yet run into the flakiness with it you described, either. I'm
just using it to connect to my phone and transfer files.

Bug description:
I've installed 8.04.1 on a 1000.  Bluetooth functionality does not appear to be setup.  I have made sure the device is enabled in the BIOS.
