Public bug reported:

I have problems with "screen". When i start screen, i see the message
"'/var/run/screen' must have mode 777". If reinstall the package with
the deb-file everything works fine.

I like using "mc", but in Ubuntu EEE it is not installed. Installation
with "sudo aptitude install screen" doesnt work. The package doesnt
exist. Download of the deb-file and installation works fine.

The sources.list is unchanged.
Ubuntu EEE 8.04.1 RC2

Has anyone the same problems?
