[Bug 265050] [NEW] Ubuntu Eee 8.04.1 RC2 bug(s) on Asus EEE 900 16GB

Public bug reported:

I have used Ubuntu Eee 8.04.1 RC2 all night (literally) and day. The
only bug I have found is the hibernate issue. It will not hibernate - it
just shows a green (!?!?!) screen. I have installet Ubuntu Eee 8.04.1
RC2 on the 16GB SSD disk thats installed on my Asus 900. Used usb-stick
for install.

The microphone SEEMS not to work. But I have only testet this with the
Sound recorder, may function in skype - have not testet this.

Fantastic job Jon & Co - An incredible work you have done. Thanks.

Further reading:
- "FN" keys all works
- Camera, wireless, keypad, sd-card drive, USB-drives works perfect
- The system is a bit slow from time to time, which is properly due to the very, very, very slow SSD-disk - or is it?
- Making the USB-disk image was a nightmare with Unetbootin, due to a combination of bad usb stick (I used 3 different) AND a bad torrent image download. Got Errno 5 input/output after 32% every time.
