Ottar Grimstad confirmed that the question is solved:
I downloaded the iso by a torrent from Mininova 20080910 at 2315
norwegian time. I now see that this iso was the old 804 even though the
ubuntu-eee site linked to it. I have now startet downloading the 8.04.1
iso and hope that solves my problems.
