[Bug 261141] Re: Eee 1000 - Disabling Wireless Crashes System
This issue is fixed in an upcoming release of eeepc-config.
Be advised that thr rt2860sta - module that runs the network on the 901
and the 1000* sometimes fails to load due to a conflict with the pcie
hotswap driver and may need to be disabled/enabled once more. Watch the
messages in /var/log/syslog .

Bug description:
Wireless is setup correctly, however when using the hotkey (FN&F2), the disable wireless icon appears - but the system then crashes. Only responds to a hard shutdown.
