[Question #49209]: Sound recorder

New question #49209 on Ubuntu Eee:

I got the ubuntu eee 8.04.1 installed on a 701  4 Gb. If I go into the sound recorder in the sound and video menu I got an error message translated into english that says about this # your sound catching settings are not valid" What is wrong? Is there any workaround?
