Re: [Question #51084]: linux-image-2.6.27-7-generic

Question #51084 on Ubuntu Eee changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu-eee/+question/51084

    Status: Answered => Open

Steven Mitnick is still having a problem:
I did download it and Ubuntu 8.10 still does not recognize the wireless.
Also an error code (1) occurred during installation:

Setting up linux-image-eeepc (2.6.27.7.8eeepc0) ...
Setting up linux-restricted-modules-eeepc (2.6.27.7.8eeepc0) ...
Setting up linux-eeepc (2.6.27.7.8eeepc0) ...
Errors were encountered while processing:
 linux-image-2.6.27-7-generic
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

The above information came from the bottom of the line list below. Also, wireless is still not recognized. The wireless device in this EEE PC 1000 is a RaLink RT2790
