[Bug 301074] [NEW] Strange charset after standby on EeePC 901 and Ubuntu-Eee
Public bug reported:
Hello,
I'm using Ubuntu-Eee 8.04.1 on Asus EeePC 901. I've a problem when the
PC goes in standby mode after some minutes I'm not using it. To resume
from standby I simply press a key (usually an arrow or space bar) and
the system comes back.
At this point the problem is that there is a strange charset! I cannot
understand which one is, I only can see that I cannot write what I want
in Gnome Terminal or in any other application. I see very strange chars.
I need to reboot the system tyo have the right charset again.
Note: my system language is English, and I'm using the Italian keyboard
layout (since I'm italian).
Any idea how to fix this?
