[Bug 305493] [NEW] Wired ethernet interface doesn't come back from suspend

Public bug reported:

I'm running Ubuntu-eee 8.04.1 on an EEE pc 901. After resuming from
suspend, the *wired* ethernet interface doesn't seem to exist anymore.
Wireless works fine. I've tried "/etc/init.d/networking restart" but
that doesn't seem to help. "Ifup eth0" doesn't work either. Rebooting
resolves the issue. Anyone else seen this?

** Affects: ubuntu-eee

         Status: New
