Public bug reported:

After a few hours of running eee-ubuntu and/or a standby time and/or
running some applications (i mean gtk like firefox or special evince for
pdf looking) the maximus deamon doesnt work any more.

if it is restartet and/or strg+f2 an maximus it works again but after
that it crashes often after a few minutes.

I use 8.04.1
