Re: [Question #54954]: Boot from CD - excape key @ boot doesnot seem to work

Question #54954 on Ubuntu Eee changed:

GJT is still having a problem:
I think Microsoft had to pay them to make it this big a pain in the but.

Only reliable way to get it to boot the eeeUbuntu disk is to give it a
bios update-an old bios is rejected- then it takes and runs whatever
live cd is in the CD drive. I am wondering if anyone knows the function
of the second partition and if windows will run without it.

I want to double boot it, and would prefer to resize it to 10 or 20 GB,
but the EeePc installer wont do anything but erase the whole thing.
Seems big for a swap disk. I may drag out a disk partitioner, but
thought I'd see if anyone knows first.
