Public bug reported:

Since updating from 8.04.1 to Easy Peasy 1.0 (ubuntu-eee 8.10) the
volume control misbehaves when using the Fn key to change it on my 901.

Hold down Fn and increase or decrease the volume all the way up  or
down.  Sometimes when increasing or decreasing the volume the volume
level will jump up and down or all the way off.

If it's possible to screencapture this, I'll post a short video.
